Rahayu Ningsih Hoed Recognized as one of the 2022 IFLR1000 Women Leaders

Rahayu Ningsih Hoed or “Yayuk”, as her friends and colleagues call her, is known not only for her brilliance and passion for the legal field, but also for her determination, hard work and courage. In 1990, she started her legal career at Makarim & Taira S. as a paralegal and over the past 32 years, Rahayu’s résumé has developed into an extensive list of outstanding work and achievements, with a number of global and local industry leaders and household names trusting her as their legal advisor in multibillion dollar deals. Her remarkable work has resulted in numerous acknowledgements and awards from prestigious global legal directories and publications over the years. Internally, she has also risen to hold leadership roles, contributing exceptionally to the firm’s current notable position. 
 
Rahayu, the mother of two beautiful young women, has undoubtedly risen to become one of the country’s leading female lawyers. Nevertheless, it is with great honor that we announce that this month, Rahayu has been awarded the title of one of the 2022 Indonesia IFLR1000 Women Leaders. The IFLR1000 Women Leaders is an elite ranking category reserved for the most prominent women lawyers around the world working in the area of law IFLR1000 research. This is an exclusive group of lawyers with outstanding reputations in their markets who either have expertise and experience in working on complex deals, or who have risen to hold leadership roles within their firms or their practices. For some individuals, both of these are true, and we are proud to say that Rahayu is one of those distinguished individuals.
