M&T Event Update - February 2021

On Friday, 18 February 2022, our Partner, Heru Mardijarto, spoke at a webinar along with other Data Protection Law practitioners from market-leading firms under the Drew Network Asia (DNA) umbrella.

Makarim & Taira S. was the event partner of the Investing in Indonesia Forum on 2 June 2016 at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang, China organized by Asian Legal Business.

On April 6th, 2022, our Litigation Practice Group held a special Litigation Group Meeting (LGM) in the office of Makarim & Taira S. It was special because it was the first physical group meeting held since the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020. In addition, we had the honor of welcoming Bapak Arief Sulistyanto, the Head of the Security Maintenance Agency of the Indonesian National Police (KABAHARKAM Polri) and Bapak Rivan Achmad Purwantono, the President Director of PT Jasa Raharja, to share their valuable knowledge of Binary Option Investment Practices, one of the topics attracting much attention in the country recently.

This event brought together experts and professionals from Bank Indonesia and our firm to identify policies and programs necessary for growth and development within both the natural and non-natural resource sectors, with a focus on promoting downstream activities.
