After ten long years of the issuance of Law No. 24 of 2009 on the National Flag, Language, Emblem, and Anthem (“Language Law”), the Government of Indonesia has finally issued an implementing regulation of the Language Law, ie Presidential Regulation No. 63 of 2019 on the Use of the Indonesian Language (“PR 63/2019”) and it came into effect on 30 September 2019.

On 10 January 2019, the Indonesian Government enacted Government Regulation No. 1 of 2019 on Export Proceeds from the Exploitation, Management, and/or Processing of Natural Resources (“GR 1/2019”).

There had been several drafts of the law on Personal Data Protection until the final draft that was submitted by the Indonesian Government to the House of Representatives on 24 January 2020 (“Final Draft Law”).
