Collaborative Discussion on Southeast Asia’s Emerging Markets with Drew Network Asia and PBCI
On 30 September 2025, Makarim & Taira S. hosted a panel discussion titled “Southeast Asia at the Crossroads: Geopolitical Shifts and Emerging Markets”, in collaboration with Drew Network Asia (DNA) and the Philippine Business Club Indonesia (PBCI).
The discussion brought together leading legal professionals from across the region — Ben Clanchy (Makarim & Taira S.), Zhen Pik L. (Shearn Delamore & Co.), Eduardo Martinez (Martinez Vergara & Gonzalez Sociedad (MVGS), and Wongrat Ratanaprayul (Tilleke & Gibbins) — and was moderated by Julian Kwek (Drew & Napier LLC).
Together, the panel explored recent geopolitical and economic developments in Southeast Asia and their implications for investors and businesses in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
