DNA Corporate Symposium 2025 - Singapore
We were honoured to join over 300 guests, speakers and Drew Network Asia partners in the DNA Corporate Symposium 2025, held in the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
With the theme "ASEAN RISING: Thriving in a World of Change," this year’s Symposium brought together leading voices to discuss how businesses can navigate economic, regulatory and geopolitical shifts across the region.
Makarim & Taira S. was proud to be part of the program, with our lawyers speaking in three different sessions:
Stephanie Kandou joined the panel "M&A: Harnessing Opportunities, Traversing Risks," exploring transaction trends and cross-border deal dynamics.
Frederick Simandjuntak spoke on "When Counterparties Experience Liquidity Problems – What Options are Available to You?" offering strategies for mitigating financial distress in commercial relationships.
Hilton King participated in the panel "ESG and Financial Regulations: The Evolving Landscape for Financial Institutions and Borrowers," which explored how ESG-driven financial regulation is reshaping lending, investment, and access to capital across the region.
A huge thank you to our fellow DNA member firms — Drew & Napier LLC, Shearn Delamore & Co., Martinez Vergara & Gonzalez Sociedad (MVGS) and Tilleke & Gibbins—for making this event another success.
Formed in 2019, Drew Network Asia (DNA) is a formidable alliance of premier law firms across Southeast Asia, comprising over 800 fee earners and a total headcount of 1,600+ across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
